Receives all supplies and equipment for the Food Service Department, checking quality, weight and specifications to ensure compliance with purchase orders. Carries or trucks supplies to storage area, fills and delivers requisitions, organizes and maintains storage areas in neat and orderly fashion, prepares inventories and maintains records of stock received and issued. Ensures the competent, efficient and timely performance of duties and assignments. Accurately and promptly receives and stores supplies. Must meet established daily deadlines with accuracy and quality performance. Ensures the efficient and timely performance of specific related duties and complies with University Health System and Food Service Department policies and procedures. Maintains good guest and working relations.
High School graduation or equivalent is required. One year of work-related experience or comparable college or commercial school courses is required. The ability to read, write and speak English and do simple arithmetic is required.
